Wing Parade Comes to Dursley

Marking the 77th anniversary of the ATC, over 250 cadets and staff paraded through the streets of Dursley today. Meeting at the Dursley Bus Station, the parade proceeded to march through the town centre to a service that was held at St James’ church and was conducted by our Wing Padre, Bernard Rumbold.

Members of the public looked on at the smartly dressed cadets, many brought out by the sound of the Wing Marching Band! This year, the band even included a member of our own, Cadet Palmer on the trumpet!

After the service at the church, all cadets were welcomed to the Chantry Centre for refreshments and some social time which was well spent with cadets from across the wing. Well done to all on the parade not only was the organisation well represented but the positive comments from the public have been overwhelming. Congratulations.
